Los Ojos has a post office with the ZIP code 87551 that was established on February 7, 1877. The neighborhood is close to US Routes 64 and 84. Park View was another name for the neighborhood in the past. Los Ojos was created in 1860, and Park View, a neighbouring community, was built in 1876.In 1877, a post office was established in Park View, but the colony and post office were quickly abandoned.The post office was reestablished in Los Ojos in 1880, but the name Park View remained the same.On maps, Los Ojos became known as Park View, but people petitioned in 1971 to have the name restored back to Los Ojos, and the petition was approved in 1972.
